What is Voice Mail?
With PRTC Voice Mail you can have all of
the features of the best answering system with
no equipment to buy or maintain. Simply sign up by
email or call 287-7101. Use any phone in your home to access your
voice messages. You can also access your messages when away from home by dialing
287-4900.
PRTC Voice Mail is $3.95 per month for
basic (one voice mail box per line) and $5.95 per month for deluxe (more than
one mailbox number per line, multiple users).
Handy Voice Mail Tips
First Set up your VOICE MAIL by
dialing 287-4900 and follow the voice instructions.
The first time you access your new voice mail box your temporary passcode will
be your seven digit phone number. During the tutorial, you will be prompted to
change your passcode to a number with 4 to 10 digits.
Once you set up your VOICE MAIL, You can read your messages by simply dialing #-
8- 0 from your home phone. When you hear the voice begin to speak, press the
*star key, then follow the voice instructions.
You know you have a VOICE MAIL message when your phone has a stutter dial tone
immediately when you pick up the receiver.

To access your mailbox from home:
Dial #-8-0
Enter your mailbox number (your seven digit phone number)
Enter your passcode (your seven digit phone number for initial setup)
Follow the voice instructions
To access your mailbox away from home:
Dial 287-4900
Enter your mailbox number (your seven digit phone number)
Press
Enter your passcode
Follow the voice instructions
