What is a capital credit?
Your capital credit is money that a commercial telephone company would keep as "profit." As a member-owner, you are entitled to share in our annual operating margins. As in any business, these will vary from year to year. The amount you receive is based on your telephone usage. Less than 2% of the population is served by a telephone cooperative. Our competitors do not issue capital credits. So, not only are you receiving superior service, you are experiencing the benefits of ownership.
